My first TLS tutorial! Soon, I will try to make tutorials involving TLS like cupcakes and cake slices XD
What I mean by sessions: I make all my TLS mix for a whole batch or more of my clay charms. Since I have school work and such, I don't have as much time to make all my charms. So I split it into sessions and make them all at once, then bake them all. I use my wax paper as a sort of an artist palette. I separate the TLS mix by color, if I have strawberry frosting, white frosting, chocolate frosting, etc. If I ever need the bowl, I can still use it without cleaning it out of unused TLS mix, b/c they will be on my handy wax paper palette (:
**If you guys use this tutorial, please send me a note or a comment, I would love to see your creations! **
Oh, and look out for more TLS involved charms
~Enjoy~

XD thanks! DX oh noes, your leg! hope it gets better real soon, but can't you make clay stuff while sitting? or are you laying down? XD cause i would think making clay stuff is the best thing to do if you hurt your leg, so you wont get bored XD
no.... I lye down on my bed and since my keyboard and mouse is wireless,so I can use the mouse and keyboard on my bed. but since im healing i am sort of better. But leg still hurts when i stand. its not that of a pain. But it is better....

By the way, have you ever tried pipping frosting with this consistency? As I told you, I make it too runny, so I got awful results with pipping... the frosting kept running and all the details got lost, leaving me with a very nasty blob.
well, usually polymer clay artists bake their charms and stuff right when they make them, but since I tend to leave it out for a bit and then bake them all together, I usually use thicker consistencies, meaning more clay than TLS ratio, or the TLS ratio is equal to the amount of clay. There really isnt a way to measure it, so I just estimate. But, wen piping, you should use a semi thick consistency so the shape will stay, and it will pipe out. if you use the metal tips or plastic tips for piping, the shape will probably stay. I like to use plastic zipper bags now, but for my macaroon([link]), I used the metal tips with the regular consistency. For my cupcake([link]) I just added more clay to the mix. You should add a little at a time, that goes for TLS too. I wish they would make a key for this stuff XDDD

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
